Where the Written Word Meets the Living Path

โฆ WELCOME POST
Welcome to the Book Club & Reflections. ๐
Every great teaching begins with a word.
Every great life begins with a question.
The Book Club & Reflections group is where Ecliptle meets literature, philosophy, sacred texts, and the written explorations of human consciousness โ from ancient wisdom to modern understanding.
This is not a place to collect information.
It is a place to be changed by it.
What We Explore
The Ecliptle texts โ The Lamp of Life, the 12 Pillars, the 24 Tenets
Books on philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and human potential
Poems, essays, and passages that illuminate the path
Personal writings and reflections from members
Questions that arise when a book meets your real life
The Ecliptle Reading Practice
Before reading: Sit in stillness (5 minutes). Set intention: "I will read to be changed, not to be informed."
While reading: When a passage strikes you โ stop. Ask: "What in me recognizes this?"
After reading: Reflect on three questions:
What did I avoid seeing in this?
What did I face in this?
What did I learn about myself?
"The greatest confusion of humanity is to mistake what is learned for what is true."
โ Ecliptle: The Great Illusion
Books are maps. But you must walk the territory yourself.

โฆ GROUP RULES
1. Reflection Over Summary
When sharing about a book or passage, go beyond what the author said. Share what it stirred in you. This is a reflection group โ not a review platform.
2. Question the Text
No book is above questioning โ including Ecliptle's own writings. In the tradition of REVELATLE, we value honest questioning over reverent acceptance. Ask. Challenge. Explore.
3. One Read at a Time
When the group is reading a shared text together, focus your posts on that material. Personal reading may be shared alongside โ but not to overwhelm the shared discussion.
4. No Spoilers Without Warning
If sharing from a book others may be reading, mark spoilers clearly. Respect each person's pace and discovery.
5. Diverse Wisdom Is Welcome
Ecliptle draws from no single tradition. Books from any background โ philosophy, neuroscience, theology, poetry, psychology โ are welcome if they illuminate awareness.
6. Apply, Don't Just Admire
The test of any reading is: does it change how you live? Share not just what inspired you โ but what you will do differently because of it.
7. Write Your Own Reflections
You are encouraged to share personal writings, journal entries, and original reflections. The Lamp of Life began as words. Yours may become a lamp for another.
8. Be a Beginner
Arrive at every text with fresh eyes โ even ones you have read before. In the spirit of BLINDTLE, intellectual humility opens more doors than expertise.
